KURRAJONG MEMORIAL PARK | 84-96 Old Bells Line of Road, Kurrajong
Kurrajong Memorial Park has re-vamped it’s playground! This playground was in need of a do-over, and the new and improved version is fantastic! Just what Kurrajong needed in the village centre.

It has so much to offer – with a mix of soft fall, bark chip and sand, it’s been designed nicely. In the sand area there’s a little digger the kids can sit on and manoeuvre back and forth. There’s a couple of great slides, see saw, whirly birds, giant swing, and lots of areas to climb.

There’s also a great little train with a tunnel through the carriage, and a train station cubby house to stop at. They have also thought of sensory play which is great, with a life size chimes set up the kids can make some music on!

As it’s set on the side of a valley area, which leads down into a beautiful park and grassed area, it’s not perfect for toddlers/littlies. You’ll need to keep an eye on them, so they don’t go over some of the drop downs.

There’s great native Australian animal statues around the playground too, that the kids can admire and climb on. A nice little touch. The play area doesn’t have simple shade sails like many playgrounds, it’s actually shaded properly with a lot of coverage. Much better than some other parks we’ve been too. There’s toilets on site, and just around the corner is Good Goodie Gum Drops Cafe, so you can grab a coffee and walk there if you’d like to. Just down the road are lots of other great cafe’s, boutique shops and eateries, including one of our favourites, The Village Kitchen.
